Recently Eva Khurshid had our first trunk show in Philadelphia, PA on May 30th. The trunk show, in conjunction with The Council for the Advancement of Muslim Professionals (CAMP) was an opportunity for women in the Philadelphia area to be able to preview, and actually place orders for the Fall 2009 collection. The event was important to bring awareness to the public about not only Eva Khurshid, but also theconcept of trunk shows.

The designers at Eva Khurshid feel that it is important to hold trunk shows to first and foremost get to know their customer and her needs, as well as to build customer loyalty. These trunk shows give attendees the opportunity to meet the designers in an intimate relaxed setting, and place orders for upcoming collection. It also gives the customer the chance to express their opinion on the clothes, and to really have their input taken into account in the design process.

This summer the EK team will be traveling across the country making appearances in Washington D.C., Oklahoma, Texas, and San Francisco for exclusive previews and pre-sales. Trunk show events will also be taking place in New York City, New Jersey, Long Island, and DC where women will be able to make place orders on their favorite pieces from the Fall 2009 collection. These events will include beverages and hors d’oeuvres so women can come enjoy their day while checking out the latest fashions. Dates for these events are soon to follow so stay posted to plan accordingly.
